What is Zumba®?

Zumba® is the largest branded fitness program in the world, created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Pérez and founded in 2001.

We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

What are the benefits?

A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a   serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

What can you expect in Juliana's Zumba Class?

Fun, lots of it! The class starts with a cool warm up that includes various fitness variations to tone your arms and glutes. Then we'll take a musical trip throughout Latin America (and the world) and we'll shake our booties to famous rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Samba, Axé, Lambada, Forró, Electropop, Hip Hop, Belly Dance and many more. When the party is over, we'll cool down and stretch to make sure our bodies are relaxed.

What clothes should I wear?

Anything comfortable or that you would wear in a normal fitness class. Make sure your shoes are proper for physical activities and your clothes will provide you the comfort you need to move and dance.
